Founder’s Day of Reva varsity

The Founder’s Day celebration of Reva University will be held on Wednesday. As part of the celebrations, the varsity will distribute scholarships to poor and meritorious students. Speaking to presspersons on Monday, varsity director (planning), N. Ramesh said: “The university for the first time is instituting the Reva Lifetime Achievement Award. ISRO chairman A.S. Kiran Kumar has been selected for the inaugural lifetime achievement award.” The award, carrying a purse of Rs. 1 lakh and a citation, will be presented to him on Founder’s Day that will be held on the university’s premises (Rukmini Knowledge Park, Yelahanka), Dr. Ramesh added. — Staff Reporter
