ARTOs pulled up over delay in updating details

NOIDA: The UP transport commissioner K Ravinder Naik has pulled up the ARTOs of Gautam Budh Nagar, Pilibhit and Farrukhabad for delaying to share the details of registration of new vehicles to the government database.
Naik told TOI that the ARTOs should provide the registration of vehicles on the government database every day. “These ARTOs have not updated their entries for around 20 days.We have written letters to these officials seeking a clarification on the delay,” Naik said.
Rachna Yaduvanshi, ARTO (administration), Noida said the delay was caused as the department’s software crashed on November 30.
