Telangana EAMCET 2016: Exam on May 2

Telangana EAMCET 2016 exam date has been announced by Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE). The exam will be held on May 2, 2016. The exam for Telangana EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.

The application form will be available by the first week of March in online mode.

Eligibility:
Candidates must obtain a minimum score of 45% in 10+2 (40% for the reserved category) to meet the Eligibility Criteria of AP EAMCET 2016.
Candidates are required to have passed Intermediate Exam or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects along with Bio-Technology or Chemistry or Biology as the optional subjects.
Candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on December 31 of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

Exam pattern:
The question paper will consist of a total of 160 multiple choice questions (MCQs). Each question will carry 1 mark. No negative marking will be done for wrong answers. The duration of the exam will be three hours and it will be conducted in two languages, English and Telugu. Only at the Hyderabad center, there will be authorisation to pick the Urdu language in EAMCET 2016.
