GHAZIABAD: The main accused in the murder case of Masuri-based trader Krishan Goya, was arrested on Saturday from Bhoodgarhi.
Goyal was gunned down in his provisions store in Peepal Dudhiya of Masuri by armed assailants on the night of October 3, by four men who had arrived in a Swift car.
He was shot four times during the attack and succumbed to his injuries in a Ghaziabad hospital.

An FIR was lodged against four accused at Masuri police station. According to police, the accused, Durbasa, from Dadri in Gautam Budh Nagar, allegedly shot Goyal along with three accomplices. "Investigations have revealed that the murder was committed over an extortion bid. Durbasa was trying to extort money from Goyal and killed him when he refused to pay the amount," said Rajesh Sharma, the Masuri SHO.
Police on Sunday said, two of Durbasa's accomplices have also been identified and efforts are on to nab them.
