Dehradun: Garhwal Sporting Club thrashed Shivalik Football Club 6-0 in a match in the 72nd Lala Nemi Das District Football League, played at Pavilion Ground, on Sunday.
In a one-sided match Rahul, Vivek, Aman, Vikram, Deepak and Naveen scored one goal each for the winning team.
In another match, CT Young beat Sundarwala Boys 3-0. Jigmay scored two, whereas Gursagar scored one goal for the CT Young team.
In the matches played at Police Lines, the Cantt Blue team beat Balaji Boys 4-0. Saurabh, Sagar, Kishan and Praveen scored one goal each for the winning team. The other match, between Adhoiwala Football Club and Vijay Cantt, settled in a 1-1 draw. — TNS
