Anticipation is high about the arrival of Samsung Galaxy S7, the successor of Galaxy S6 from Samsung. The latest report states that Samsung has partnered with Google to enhance the user experience on Galaxy S7 to compete with Apple devices.

Apparently, Samsung has sealed a partnership with Google to improve the TouchWiz skin on top of the Android OS, as reported by SamMobile. According to a report, this partnership will allow the TouchWiz to become more responsive and enhance speed that would surpass the performance of the iOS. Another source claims that Samsung is already working on the TouchWiz along with Google.

The current TouchWiz makes the Galaxy Smartphone series lag as it uses a lot of bloatwares. Samsung has already taken a step to resolve the issue by reducing it considerably and the result is evident on the Samsung Note 5 which works faster than the Galaxy devices.

Despite these rumours erupting about the optimization of TouchWiz, some industry experts argue that Samsung can never defeat Apple in terms of speed and performance. Apple gives great user experience even though the iOS has been plagued with bugs and other issues.

According to research conducted by TechCrunch, approximately 92 percent of iPhone owners are either using the iOS8 or the latest version iOS9. Meanwhile, about 26 percent of Android users are using either Android Lollipop or Marshmallow.

Recently, China Mobile presented a roadmap for the next couple of months. It showed that Samsung Galaxy S7 will be released in March 2016 and the slide was later uploaded in Weibo.

On the other hand, GSM Arena stated that the device will be released at the MWC 2016 event towards the end of February, but it will hit the market in mid-March. In addition, the presentation also revealed the China-specific Galaxy S7 price range as “more than 3,000+ yuan (AU$640 or US$463)," according to GForGames.
