She would also take hours to get ready. Since it was becoming difficult to handle her, the production house decided to replace her overnight.” However, the actress says, “They did offer the part to me. But I wasn’t too keen to continue on the show. I can’t work with unprofessional people. It’s not them but me who called it quits.”
She adds, “It’s always the actor who bears the brunt of the channel and the production house’s clash. My conditions were clear right from the beginning, which included taking a day off every week. They agreed to all my conditions back then. So why cry foul now? I didn’t go pleading with the makers to take me on. Instead, they requested me to come onboard, claiming that the ratings of their show were dwindling. They shot mails to the channel accusing me of delaying the shoot, which wasn’t true. This production house expects their actors to follow their instructions without questioning them. All of this, because, I am strongly opinionated and have a mind of my own.”
