New Delhi, Dec 23 (UNI) BJP MP Kirti Azaad was today suspended from the party, days after he opened a front against Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over the alleged DDCA scam, causing embarrassment to the party, sources said. Ignoring all the warnings from the party high command, the former cricketer held a press conference on Sunday, posing more than 50 questions about the alleged irregularities in the cricket body, which was headed by Mr Jaitley for 15 long years. The party was finding it difficult to defend its stand on the issue as its own MP was endorsing the allegations, which were first flagged by the Aam Aadmi Party. Mr Azad even went to dare Mr Jaitley to file a defamation suit against him, as he claimed that he was the first one to raise the alarm in 2008 over the issue. Taking his cue, another party MP and actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha also raised the banner against the Finance Minister, saying that he should come out clean and follow the footstep of party patriarch LK Adavni, who had resigned after being named in Jain Hawala case.
