Skeleton found in Pinjore jungle

A skeleton of a suspected missing farmer was found in a jungle near Lohgarh village of Pinjore on Tuesday.

Panchkula: A skeleton of a suspected missing farmer was found in a jungle near Lohgarh village of Pinjore on Tuesday.
According to the cops, skeleton is of one Balbir Singh Bhola, who had gone missing on May 8, 2015, after a property dealer fraudulently grabbed his property worth Rs 1.5 crore.
Two farmers of Lohgarh village Gurmail Singh and Jasbir Singh, who had gone to the forest to collect woods and grass, on Monday found the skeleton lying under a tree.
They also found a muffler with dry blood hanging from the tree.
Gurmail Singh and Jasbir Singh, who was present in the mortuary of civil hospital, Sector 6, said, "We go to the jungle to collect woods and grass. We were shocked to find skeleton of a human being there. We immediately informed the cops about it."
However, the villagers have identified the muffler belonging to Bhola.
Meanwhile, Bhola's family members, who were present at the hospital, have alleged that a local property dealer had killed Balbir to grab his land worth Rs 1.5 crore. They also alleged that immediately after Bhola went missing, a local cop had got Bhola's property registered in his name after paying Rs 12 lakh as registration fee.
Sarabjit Kaur, a relative of Bhola, said, "Bhola went missing on May 8 and the cops registered the case on May 11. Though we had informed cops about the property dealer, no action was taken against him."

Another family member Sadhe Singh also alleged that a local property dealer and a cop were involved in the disappearance of Bhola.
Cops reached the spot and collected the skeleton and muffler from the spot and took it to the civil dispensary in Kalka on Monday from where it was referred to the civil hospital sector 6 on Tuesday.
A team of forensic department joined the bones in to the position of a human being and after inspecting confirmed it as a body of a male aged between 35-45 years of age and they also informed that some of the bones are missing due to eaten by wild animals.
Forensic Expert, Sunil Gambhir, said, "Reason behind the death is not confirmed right now, as none of the bone found injured and we will match the DNA reports of the skeleton with the family members of Balbir after which it can be confirmed that he is that person or not."
Investigation officer Zile Singh said, "We have sent the skeletal remains to the mortuary."
Pinjore SHO Mohinder Singh said, "DNA reports will confirm the identity of the deceased and investigation in the case is going on."
