Bengaluru: Two die in separate road accidents

Bengaluru: Two people, including a 21-year-old youth, died in separate road accidents in Yeshwanthpur and K.R. Puram traffic police station limits on Tuesday.
In the first incident, a 31-year-old pedestrian died on the spot after he was allegedly knocked down by an unidentified vehicle near Garudacharapalya in K.R. Puram traffic police limits early Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Sajjan Rao, an employee in a private courier company and a resident of Hoodi. K.R. Puram traffic police have registered a case.
In the second incident riding a bike without helmet proved fatal for a 21-year-old pillion rider, who died on the spot while his two other friends sustained critical injuries on early Tuesday in Yeshwanthpur. The bike they were travelling hit another one and rammed into the median. The deceased has been identified as Akshay Naire, 21, hailed from Haveri. Yeshwanthpura traffic police have registered a case of negligent driving and are probing further.
