Rameshwaram team wins DAE volleyball championship

The Rameshwaram team emerged champion in the 31st Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) Volleyball Championship, which concluded at Gautaminagar (HWPM Colony) in Aswapuram on Saturday.

The five-day DAE volleyball championship saw participation of a total of eight teams representing various DAE units from across the country. The Konark team were runners-up in the prestigious tournament, according to sources in HWP(M). M. Bhaskaran, Chairman and Chief Executive, Heavy Water Board, Mumbai, presented trophies to the winners and runners-up at the closing ceremony held at Gautaminagar on Saturday night.

C. Seshasai, Director (technical), Heavy Water Board, Mumbai, K Viswanath, CGM, HWP(M), and others were present.
