KUWAIT, Dec 20 (KUNA) -- Kazma Sunday defeated Al-Jahra 85-84 in a clash the former was about to lose in the last minutes, part of the 8th week of Kuwait Basketball Association's (KBA) league.
Team captain Mohammad Ashkanani and point guard Ahmad Al-Baloushi led Kazma to this thrilling win. Kazma were reckless in the fourth quarter after they were leading by 12 points and were about to lose the game but succeeded in sealing this important win.
Meanwhile, Qadsia easily passed Shabab 82-58, while Arabi crashed Sulaibikhat 98-44 and Kuwait did not have problem beating Yarmouk 90-57.
Only Kazma, Qadsia and Kuwait are unbeaten so far, but it is too early to judge who might be the league winner. Neither team played at the other. (end)
