A round of negotiation between the Film Employees’ Federation of Kerala (Fefka) and the Kerala Film Producers’ Association here on Saturday on increasing wages for film technicians was inconclusive.
The Fefka alleged that it was the adamant stance taken by film producers that ended the talks without a result. However, the film producers claimed that the film technicians were demanding a big wage increase. Representatives of both the groups expressed the hope that the meeting scheduled for December 30 would be a conclusive one.
The film producers have decided to convene a general body meeting and decide on the wage issue.
