Festive fervour has gripped Bhadrachalam, the abode of Lord Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy, ahead of Mukkoti (Vaikunta) Ekadasi festival to be celebrated on Monday.

The entire temple complex, including the adjoining Mithila stadium in Bhadrachalam, has been colourfully illuminated on the eve of the Ekadasi festivities.

The stage is set for the colourful mega event – Teppotsavam to be performed in the waters of the Godavari late on Sunday afternoon.

The authorities have made elaborate sector-wise arrangements for the Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam, a special ritual to be held on the occasion of Mukkoti Ekadasi, at the historic shrine in the early hours of Monday.
