Two-day Ayush Habba at Pilikula from today

The two-day Ayush Habba, which projects Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani and Sidda, begins at the Dr. Shivaram Karant Pilikula Nisargadhama from Saturday.

During the two-day event, there will be stalls displaying techniques namely Panchakarma and other treatment related to Indian Systems of Medicine. There will be information about home-based remedies and lifestyle changes that are necessary to be followed.

Persons, who are visiting the stalls for check-up, will be given health cards that can be used for getting further treatment.

All Ayurvedic, Homeopathy colleges and institutions will be having their stalls. People can buy medicines at the stalls of Ayurvedic and Homeopathy medicine manufacturers that will be operating during the two days.

Government AYUSH doctors will be providing information about facilities available at the Government Ayush clinics in Dakshina Kannada. The event will be inaugurated by Minister for Environment and Forests B. Ramanath Rai. Health Minister U.T. Khader will also participate.
