The Medical College police on Friday arrested Gopalakrishnan Nair, 56, of Koyippuram, Changanassery, on charges of attacking a staff nurse at the Regional Cancer Centre here on November 3.
According to Sheen Tharayil, Circle Inspector, Medical College, the accused had attacked the nurse alleging that proper medical care was not being given to a relative of his wife.
Absconding
He had hit her on the head with a flask before fleeing the spot. He was absconding ever since and was tracked with the help of his mobile phone location.
