Motor Vehicle Safety System for Children Invented by InventHelp Client (PND-4632)

While car makers continue to add and improve safety features, there is still one area that is lacking. There is no full proof way to safeguard infants and young children riding in car seats against injury or death from being left behind unattended in a closed vehicle. However, thanks to an inventor from Pitman, N.J., this type of tragedy can now be prevented.

He developed BABY SAVER ALARM to alert parents that a child has been left behind in a car seat after the vehicle is turned off. As such, it prevents injuries and deaths from extreme temperatures in a closed vehicle. Simply stated, it heightens child safety while traveling by car. Besides that, it affords peace of mind for busy parents and caregivers. Another appealing feature is that is activates automatically. It is also convenient, effective and affordably priced. In addition, it is reliable, maintenance free and easy to use.

The inventor's personal observations inspired the idea. "I was concerned about the increasing number of children who have been left behind in cars and have been seriously injured or have died as a result," he said. "I wanted to prevent this kind of tragedy."

The original design was submitted to the Philadelphia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
