The filming of actor Rajinikanth’s next movie, 2.0 , directed by Shankar, began in Chennai on Wednesday.
The movie is a sequel to his 2010 film Enthiran and will also star Amy Jackson and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar.
For the first time in over a decade, Rajinikanth will simultaneously be shooting for two movies. Filming is already underway for Kabali , directed by Pa. Ranjith.
Produced by Lyca Productions, 2.0 will have music by A.R. Rahman, cinematography by Nirav Shah and sound design by Resul Pookutty.
