Quilon Social Service Society celebrates 55th anniversary

The Quilon Social Service Society (QSSS), the charity wing of the Kollam Latin Catholic diocese, celebrated its 55th anniversary on Tuesday by launching a cancer awareness programme christened Asakiranam .

At the function the QSSS director board members accorded a reception to new city Mayor V. Rajeendrababu and Deputy Mayor Vijay Francis.

In his address after launching Asakiranam , Kollam Bishop Stanley Roman called upon the people to promote organic cultivation of vegetables in their backyards.
