NAAC team visits Salur College

A three-member NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) team comprising Dahiya L.N, former pro-vice-chancellor, Maharshi Dayanand University (Haryana), N.C. Chandasekharan, former principal of Kandaswami Kandar College (Tamil Nadu),and Prof. K.V. Dinesh, IIIT, Bengaluru visited the Government Degree College at Salur for the re-accreditation process under the second cycle. They inspected facilities, interacted with faculty and students and suggested the college principal K. Venkata Rao to adopt new techniques to improve student-centric teaching, introduce add-on courses and PG courses, and collaborate with industries and institutions. The college was already accredited with C grade in 2008, according to the college press release.
