Hidden camera did kingpin in

VIJAYAWADA: Thanks to a secret camera, one of the kingpins in the racket, Yalamanchili Srirama Srirama Murthy alias Ramu, was trapped by the Task Force personnel. The secret camera was installed in one of the offices of Ramu by the sleuths following a complaint by a woman apparel designer, who was a victim of call money trade.
The transactions caught on the camera helped the cops track the high-profile visitors frequenting the office.A source having acquaintance with Ramu told TOI that the latter's office was always packed with visitors and borrowers.
The Patamata CI was asked to go on leave after he reportedly turned down the request of the TF personnel to raid Ramu's office on the plea that the lenders are enjoying connections with well-placed politicians.
