Senior citizen dies in road accident

VADODARA: A 63-year-old woman was killed when a speeding vehicle hit the scooter on which she was pillion riding near Satyam Flats here on Sunday night. The deceased was identified as Pramila Patel. Her husband Raman Patel (65) was driving the scooter.
Gorwa police said the couple was returning home after attending a wedding at Laxmipura. A speeding motorbike rammed into their vehicle from behind near Satyam Flats at around 10 pm.Pramila succumbed to her severe injuries on head and face. The police said the motorbike rider has been identified as Snehal Patel. TNN
