Massive collision leaves three dead

In a massive collision between a passenger bus and Alto car near Wusan Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district three people including a government employee died on spot on Monday afternoon.A police official told CNS that the two vehicle crash occurred near Wussan. The passenger bus (JK01E-2513) was bound for Kangan from Srinagar while Alto car (JK016-3990) was on way to Ganderbal from Kulan. “It was a head-on collision. All the three persons on board in Alto vehicle including the driver died on spot. 

The crash was so massive that it took pretty much time for in retrieving the bodies. The damage to the vehicles was incredible,” he said adding that two of the deceased persons were contractors and one was working in Health Department.“The passenger bus was seized and its driver Bashir Ahmed Dar a resident of Pandach Ganderbal has been arrested and an FIR vide number 233/2015 under section 304A, 279 was registered in police station Kangan,” he said.The police official identified the deceased as Mushtaq Ahmed Sheikh of Sonamarg, Mushtaq Ahmed Shah of Kulun and Reyaz Ahmed Kaloo a resident of Gund Kangan.
