The Kenworth T880, T800, W900, and C500 vocational trucks can now be ordered with the Allison 4700 RDS 7-speed automatic transmission with optional second “deep reverse.”
- Suitable for mixers, dumps, cranes and heavy-haulers where the application calls for an increase in overall transmission ratios
- Features no-power interrupts for full power shifts and allows full use of the engine’s horsepower
- T880 also available with a “box bumper” in 1/4- or 3/8-in. thick steel or 1/4-in. thick aluminum and with a tapered design to allow for hood pivot clearance and more protection for the grille and headlight area
- Fixed grille option available on the W900S with the PACCAR PX-9 engine in a set-forward front axle configuration
