‘LB polls results show public trust in PML-N’

PML-N MNA Malik Shabir Bashir Awan and MPA Malik Muhammad Waris Kallu have said that the results of local bodies elections in Punjab reflect that the masses have trust in the PML-N leadership.
They claimed that the masses have rejected “negative” politics of the opponents in the polls.
Addressing the newly-elected PML-N general councillors including Rana Muhammad Alam, Rana Muhammad Akram, Malik Muhammad Hussain, Safdar Awan, Malik Manzoor Ahmad Baga and Malik Muhammad Waris and other party workers, they said that the PML-N had been enjoying the status of the country’s biggest and popular political party.
They added that it would start new era of prosperity of the LB institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, PML-N Youth Wing Sargodha Division President Malik Muhammad Khalid Awan said that the LB polls in Punjab were just a trailer of the 2018 general elections, adding that the PML-N is in a very strong position to win the 2018 general elections.
PML-N Khushab district senior vice president Malik Fiziz Hussain Jara said that the local bodies were nursery of democracy. He asked the political rivals to give up the tradition of negative politics, and get united in the large national interest. PML-N Tehsil Noorpur Thal President Malik Manzoor Ahmad Baga said that the local bodies would strengthen democracy, democratic norms and values with power of the trust and confidence of the masses.
PML-N local leader Rana Muhammad Alam said that the government was ensuring early and smooth transition of power to the lower level after the completion of polls. He said that the LB polls have also increased the political popularity of the PML-N. He added that the PML-N government would move forward the agenda of national development and prosperity with the help of the local bodies and safeguard the rights of the people. PML-N city president Raja Muhammad Irfan, Malik Manzoor, Allah Ditta and Ahmed Hayat Mughal also spoke on the occasion.
