Special passport camp

The Madurai Regional Passport Office will conduct a special passport seva camp at Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi, on December 12 and 13 for the residents of Virudhunagar district.

According to a press release from S. Manishwar Raja, Regional Passport Officer, a special application, which works over Internet in a secured manner, will be used at the camp for processing passport applications.

The camp will be held between 9.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. adopting online appointment model for normal passport applications. ‘Tatkaal’ and Police Clearance Certificate applications will not be entertained at the camp.

Applicants should log on towww.passport india.gov.into register their applications online, generate an Application Registration Number, pay the required fee and schedule an appointment before coming to the passport seva camp.

They should appear at the camp at the allocated time with the printout of ARN, two passport size photographs, originals of supporting documents and one set of their self-attested copies.

The timings of appointment will be released at 2 p.m. on December 12.
