Regular rail service between Chennai Central and Chennai Egmor to resume from Monday

CHENNAI: Regular rail service will resume between Chennai Central and Chennai Egmore from Monday, southern railway general secretary Vashishta Johri said at a press conference.
So far, 70 special trains were operated and have taken 45,000 people out of Chennai.
Arrangements have been made to provide free food packets and water for the passengers.
Exact loss yet to be ascertained as the team was busy doing the relief work, he said.
We have so have refunded Rs 25 crore to the passengers, he said.
