KASUR
A woman was allegedly lured into a job offer and raped by an accused in Ittefaq Adda area of Phoolnagar here the other night.
The victim told the police that the alleged rapist Imdad Hussain enticed her into a job offer and asked her to come to Add Tankiwala in Phoolnager on the phone. She claimed that the accused took her a quarter near Ittefaq Add where he raped her. She said that the accused fled the scene when her husband along with other relatives reached there. She also told the the police that two other accused also aided and abetted the rapist. The police have registered a case against three accused and started investigation.
NEWBORN FOUND DEAD: The body of a newborn was found from Noorpur Canal. Some passersby spotted the dead body and informed the police which reached the scene and took the dead body the hospital. The police have registered a case against unidentified persons.
On the other hand, a man was killed in a collision between motorcycle and rickshaw. The deceased identified as Muhammad Aslam was on the way to Depalpur from Eallabad. All of sudden the bike collided with a Rickshaw coming from the opposite direction. The police have registered a case against the driver.
