Singer Daler Mehndi performs at Diwali meet in Varanasi

Spirits were high and the mood happy at this Diwali meet organised by a local club in Varanasi.
Singer Daler Mehndi performed for the members who danced and sang with him. Daler entertained the crowd for over two with his hit numbers including 'Tunak tunak tun', 'Bolo ta ra ra', 'Ho jayegi balle balle', 'Dardi rab rab kardi' and 'Sade dil te chhuriyan'. Given that he was in the holy city of Banaras, Daler also sang some devotional songs like 'Namo namo' at the event, throwing in some Bhojpuri songs too in between.
“Diwali is long since over par jab koi achha programme organise karna hota hai toh uske liye thoda toh time dena padta hai,” said Ashok Khanna, the vice president of the club.
