Jennifer Winget to make a return on TV as a tough cop?

It is time for fans to rejoice as Jennifer Winget is all set to make a comeback on the small screen. The actress, who was last seen on the fictional show, Saraswatichandra playing Kumud will now be seen as a tough officer. The show is titled Narco and will be aired on Life Ok. Like its title suggests, it will deal with the happenings of a narcotics department and will address real life situations. It will be in the form of a thriller. The show is produced by Rowdy Rascals. Sharing screen space with Jennifer will be Shaleen Malhotra. The ex-MTV Roadies contestant who was last seen in the crime drama Arjun will play a fellow officer. It is the first time the two have been paired together. There will be a romantic angle between the two. A supporting cast of equally well known actors have been short-listed. Shaleen Malhotra wrote on his Twitter account that the rumours of him doing the show weren’t ‘untrue’ but that there was no confirmation as well. Jennifer Winget won a lot of accolades for her performance in Saraswatichandra including awards for Best Actress. Then, she moved to films bagging a project opposite filmmaker-turned-actor, Kunal Kohli. The film is yet to see a release as it is caught in a legal tangle. We guess it was the right time for Jennifer to make a comeback on TV, where she has a legion of fans.
