Unconventional is an apt word to describe Neha Dhupia. The Delhi girl – who has demonstrated her range of acting by playing diametrically opposite roles in Mithya and Phas Gaye Re Obama – often surprises filmgoers with her choice of movies. And her decision to pick a reality show known for its biking stunts is no different. She is now in the news for replacing her contemporary Esha Deol as a female judge of MTV Roadies X4 . The actor was at Expo Drive in NCR for the auditions the series where her co-judges are Rannvijay Singh, Karan Kundra and Sushil Kumar.

Neha never compromises with her fitness schedule whether it means shooting long hours for films or hosting events in any part of the country. “I believe in intense training schedule, which involves every part of my body. A high intensity workout is a must for me. And what I do in my life I want the youth to replicate it. Whenever I interact with youngsters I urge them to lead active lives and sweat it out whether in the swimming pool, athletics field or on the mat performing yoga.”

Even when the coveted size zero was a rage, Neha was not impressed. The former Miss India does not propagate a crash diet and recommends wholesome healthy food which means lot of vegetables and juices. “I eat nutritious home cooked food even if it is dal, chawal and veggies. But I also take non vegetarian stuff.”

Her enthusiasm for fitness can be seen from her participation in marathons and posing picture of Olympian Carl Lewis speaking about running on Twitter. All these must have played a role behind those running the reality show appointing her as the judge of Roadies where she would be required to test participant’s capability to perform challenging tasks.

Describing acting as a restless job, Neha says the audience has not been able to know her as a person and that is the reason behind her decision to enter a new domain. “As a reality show judge, I feel people will get to see the good as well as the bad side of everyone. The fact that I hail from an army background has contributed a lot in instilling discipline in me.”

As an actor Neha is concerned about a scene once the camera is on but on a reality show it is different. “While performing the tasks, I have to be fit so that I can really perform it admirably and aesthetically.
