KCR invites guv to yagam

Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday invited governor ESL Narasimhan to the Ayuta Chandi Yagnam to be performed between December 23 and 27 at the chief minister’s farm house in Erravelli village of Medak district. The chief minister called on the governor at the Raj Bhavan and invited him to the mega ritual in which thousands of priests are to take part.

HYDERABAD: Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday invited governor ESL Narasimhan to the Ayuta Chandi Yagnam to be performed between December 23 and 27 at the chief minister’s farm house in Erravelli village of Medak district. The chief minister called on the governor at the Raj Bhavan and invited him to the mega ritual in which thousands of priests are to take part.

“The chief minister has planned to perform the yagnam for the well-being of Telangana people. He wanted the governor to be part of it and extended invitation to him,” said a source close to KCR.
KCR also has plans to invite governors of Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra K Rosaiah and Ch Vidyasagar Rao.
The Telangana CM has also said he would invite his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu to the religious event. President Pranab Mukherjee, who is visiting Hyderabad for his southern sojourn towards the month end, is expected to take part in the Yagnam.
