Varun Sandesh did 'Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu' for free?

Varun Sandesh will be seen playing a prominent role in the Telugu film Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu.
According to a report on thehansindia.com, the actor has not charged the makers even a single penny for the film. By doing this, Varun seems to be following the footsteps of Allu Arjun, who did the film Rudramadevi for free.
Mama Manchu Alludu Kanchu features Mohan Babu, Allari Naresh, Ramya Krishnan and Meena in pivotal roles.The film is slated to hit theatres on the eve of Christmas.
