As part of the ongoing Kartika Masam celebrations, Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam in Vemulawada witnessed heavy pilgrim rush on Monday.

Devotees from various parts of the State and other parts of the country arrived in large numbers to participate in the rituals and offer prayers to the presiding deities of Lord Siva and goddess Parvati. Since early morning, the devotees formed serpentine queues for the darshan of the deities after taking a holy dip in the tank at the temple shrine.

They also participated in special pujas, ‘abhishekhams’, ‘kode mokku’, ‘kum kum pujas’ and others.
