Governor-CM host Gujarati Bengali vegetarian banquet

GANDHINAGAR: Gujarat Gover nor O P Kohli and CM Anandiben Patel on Monday hosted a banquet for President Pranab Mukherjee at Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar.
The President was served only vegetarian food at the dinner, which had a number of Gujarati dishes and some Bengali sweets on the menu.The dinner was attended by chief minister Anandiben Patel, all the cabinet ministers, Assembly Speaker Ganpat Vasava, leader of the opposition (LOP) in the assembly Shankersinh Vaghela, the high court Chief Justice, and officials of the rank of principal secretary and above along with a few private citizens.
The state General Administration Department (GAD) protocol division arranged the dinner. The President spent the night at Raj Bhavan.
