Someone Give Drake and Adele Their Own Romantic Comedy Already

If it were fiction, you know how this continued coquetry over a "Hotline Bling" remix would end.

When we last visited Drake and Adele, the "Hello" singer had expressed her desire to do a "Hotline Bling" remix/collab, having already bought a red coat similar to the one Drake wears in the video. Well, it appears Drake received Adele's message: Over the weekend, the Toronto native said he would "do anything with Adele." Seriously. Drake said he would even "literally go to Adele’s house right now and do laundry for her."

Guys. Forget about a "Hotline Bling" remix. (Okay, well, don't forget about it completely.) But let's dream bigger! Why should we stop at just one remix? Drake and Adele are lobbing these compliments at each other the same way two high school kids who are obviously in love keep posting on each other’s Facebook wall. So let's cast these two in a romantic comedy already.

You can see it now, right? Two aspiring singers meet in a contrived situation, and don't realize they both are competing for the last contract available at a record studio. Drake immediately falls for Adele, who keeps rejecting his advances. Kevin Hart plays Drake's sidekick. Adele finally falls for Drake, but right before he can "do her laundry," she finds out he's the one person in her way from achieving her lifelong singing dreams.

Not only would this movie have the potential of being Hitch for a new generation, the soundtrack would absolutely bang. Adele and Drake, it's time to put your money where your mouths are.
