Christmas is around the corner, which means it's time to get well and truly into the spirit of the season. And what better way to do that than round up a Christmas carol group and serenade the neighbourhood with songs of the season? Here are a few tips you can follow...Get the right group: Get at least three or five people together who have a range of vocal capabilities.
Pick carols everyone knows: This way , it's easier for everyone to learn the songs and get in sync.
Practice: Get together as often as possible and practise your carols even if everyone knows them, so you can get your cues and harmonies right.
Dress up: Figure out a dress code to make it more fun. For instance, wear red-and-green outfits and Santa hats.
Plan a caroling route: Start with your neighbourhood, and then move on to your fellow carolers' neighbourhoods. You can even spread out your caroling sessions over a few days.
