St Mary's continued Kerry's dominance of the Munster IFC in Fitzgerald Stadium on Saturday - this was the ninth victory for a Kingdom club in 10 years.

Bryan Sheehan scored three points, but the Kerry star was overshadowed by his midfield partner Denis Daly, who put in a man-of-the-match display, scoring with 1-3.

Carrigaline led by 0-3 to 0-2 after five minutes, with Brian Coakley working well as he hit five first-half points.

St Mary's gradually got a handle on the difficult breeze, with points from Sean Cournane and Aidan Walsh and a brace from Daly giving them a 0-8 to 0-6 lead at the break.

The game was still close at the three-quarter mark as Mary's advantage was 0-11 to 0-8 but a free and a '45' from Sheehan put his club in a strong position, with Daly's goal coming straight from the resulting kick-out of the '45' in the 49th minute.

St Marys were full value for their 10 point win over their Cork opponents as they will face Leinster Champions Ratoath of Meath in the All-Ireland semi-final in the new year.
