LSU Tigers carry Les Miles off the field after winning last home game of the season

The Tigers won what may have been Les Miles’ final game as LSU’s football coach, beating Texas A&M 19-7 on Saturday. Afterwards, his players lifted him up and carried him all the way off the field as the home crowd erupted in cheers.

Many people from Shaquille O’Neal to Bobby Jindal have expressed sincere hope that Miles will remain the head coach next season. Students in the stands agreed, chanting, “Keep Les Miles! Keep Les Miles!” when the game was over.

And, of course, Miles dabbed, as did almost every other coach today.

Update: Looks like Les is staying after all.

“I want to make it very clear that Les Miles is our football coach and will continue to be our football coach,” Athletics director Joe Alleva said to media after the win.
