11-year-old's body found

Barasat: Mystery shrouds the death of an 11-year-old boy who had gone missing on Thursday. His decomposed body was found floating in a canal on Saturday at Gaighata in North 24-Parganas.
Police said the victim has been identified as Ripan Ghosh, a resident of Hanshpur. He left his home on Thursday afternoon. "He loved fishing. Around 3 pm on Thursday he went out to catch fish in a local pond, but didn't return home.We lodged a missing diary with Gaighata police later in the day," said a family member.
