Pay house tax by Dec 31 for 30% rebate

Gurgaon: The MCG has announced that it will give 30% rebate to residents who pay property tax by December 31 this year. MCG officials also said that if there is any interest pending on the property tax for years 2010-2015, it will be waived off. If already paid, the civic agency will adjust the excess amount in the coming years, provided the owner has paid the full tax till 2015-16, officials added.The MCG has also announced that it will start penalising those found wasting water in the city. "We have formed teams who would visit various areas, and fine those found wasting water," he said.
