CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif leaves for UK on official visit

CM Punjab said that his visit will further strengthen the associations with the British government.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday has left for Britain on an official visit. The minister has been scheduled to meet important British leaders and head of different departments.

CM Punjab will discuss the policies to fortify the bilateral ties with United Kingdom (UK) while he will also meet the Pakistanis living abroad.

Shahbaz Sharif stated that UK and Pakistan are still enjoying friendly and economic relations. He said that his visit will further strengthen the associations with the British government.

Earlier today, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif inaugurated latest modern Instrumental Landing System CAT III-B at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.

Before the inauguration ceremony, a briefing was given to the Chief Minister regarding the functioning of the system.

After installation of this state-of-the-art system, there will be no more flight delays and diversions due to fog at Lahore airport.

According to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the system will facilitate aircraft landing in 50 meter visibility. Allama Iqbal International Airport has become second airport in South Asia to have this facility.
