AHMEDABAD: The rift between state government and the Gujarat Technological University Vice Chancellor Akshai Aggarwal is out in the open with the VC and the state government likely to separate reports on the new education policy.
Sources in the GTU said that the VC has called for a meeting with vice chancellors from all over the country to mull on the new education policy.
However, the state government is already working on a report which it will sent to the central ministry of human resource and development. Aggarwal on the other hand plans to send his own report on the issue which has irked the Gujarat government.
Sources said the government is likely to submit its report on November 30, while the GTU is holding the brain storming session on December 5. Aggarwal was not available for comment.
