Non-stop love, so goes Rocket’s tagline. Sadly, instead of love, it’s non-stop nonsense. With not a whit of thought gone into its making, Rocket reeks of mediocrity and madness. The film is from his own production house, and Satish Ninasam — in trying to take pot-shots at the industry — falls into his own trap.

At the heart of Rocket is a saga of romance. One-sided at that. An accident, following an accident, sees Rakesh admitted to a hospital where angelic Dr Shwetha ministers him back to health.

With songs aplenty after every episode, Rocket shows how Rakesh accompanies Shwetha to her house in Madikeri, where he learns she is to be married next Sunday.

Even as he plots to win her over, jets in Pavithra from the US, for her friend’s marriage.

With the gun-wielding brother threatening to shoot Rakesh if he gets fresh with his sister, Rocket is set for a firework of a climax. Does it?

One’s patience wears out and one cares a damn whether Rakesh gets Shwetha or Pavithra. It’s time Ninasam Satish revisited his alma mater to burnish his acting skills.
