NAWALPARASI: EFG Bankers of Switzerland won the title of the 34th World Elephant Polo Championship in Amaltari here on Friday. The Swiss team defeated Nepal’s Tiger Tops Tuskers 8-5 in the final match.

Sanjay Choygal was the top scorer for the winning team with three goals. Teams from Nepal, Switzerland, England, Sri Lanka, United States of America, Saudi Arabia and Australia took part in the tournament that began on November 23.
