This definitely seems to be a great news for the OnePlus One users with the company rolling out the Android 6.0 CM13 ROM for the smartphone.

However, the ROM is still in the nightly update stage and a lot more updates are yet to come.

Yet, you can experience the feel on your OnePlus One now!

Before moving ahead with actually installing the Android 6.0 CM13 ROM on to your OnePlus One, here's what you need.

• Android 6.0 Marshmallow CyanogenMod 13 ROM
• Google Apps
• TWRP Recovery 2.8.6

We recommend you to make sure you have at least 80% of battery remaining on your phone and you have also backed up your data.

First and foremost, you will have to download Android 6.0 CM13 ROM on the computer while you connect the smartphone on to the computer with USB cable.

Once the CM13 ROM zip file is downloaded, you should copy it to the root folder on the phone's SD card.

Now, power off the phone and disconnect the USB cable and boot the device into Recovery Mode. In-case if you do not know, you can enter into Recovery Mode by pressing and holding volume down and power keys at the same time.

You will have to now perform a full data wipe task by clicking wipe button and then select 'Swipe to Factory Reset' option being displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Back in to the main recovery menu, you will have to tap on the Install button and choose the zip file you copied earlier. You need to confirm the installation on the next screen.

Now, as soon as the firmware installation completes, you will have to wipe the Cache / Dalvik to prevent boot loop issues. Reboot the phone now.

It will take around 5 minutes to complete successfully.
