Seen at this glittering evening were celebrities including Ujjwala Raut, Sonnalli Seygall, Terence Lewis, Mickey Mehta, Swapnil Shinde and Amy Billimoria.

While Anam Shaikh and Prateek Baid were crowned as the winners, first and the second runners-up were Lavina Israni, Joshua Chabra, Anushka Songaonkar and Karan Ahuja.
Glam Icon 2015, an annual property of Phoenix Marketcity, aims to provide a platform to youngsters to hone their talent in the field of fashion. The month-long talent hunt offered aspiring shoppers an opportunity to fulfil their desire of having modelling as a career. The top 60 contestants walked on the longest ramp for the auditions round, wearing sportswear from adidas, Reebok and Sport XS. With a renowned panel in place, grooming and training sessions began at the Inglot store with mother and daughter duo, Sangeeta and Ishita. The participants got an opportunity to learn from ace fashion choreographer Shakir Shaikh and fitness expert Mickey Mehta. The students from WLCI College provided backend support throughout the execution of the event. The grand finale saw the top 20 contestants walk the ramp wearing outfits from Avirate, Kazo, French Connection, Celio, Pantaloons and other fashion brands from the mall. Fashion designer Swapnil Shinde, along with designer duo Pratham and Gyanesh, presented their latest collections at the final round. The expert panel of judges provided styling tips and insights into shopping for the latest trends available at the mall.
The models were seen encouraging the talented participants while indulging in coeval renditions at Craft, a chic all-day Deli, bistro and bar. The winners were awarded an annual contract with TOABH modelling agency, a free international trip and a portfolio shoot by Kaustubh Kamble. Speaking on the occasion, Sonnalli Seygall said, “Glam Icon is a luminous platform for youngsters to display their talent in the fashion industry. I am extremely delighted to be associated with this unique initiative by Phoenix Marketcity. The mall has so many brands to choose from and is one of my favourite shopping destinations.” The event was even more special as it was part of the fourth anniversary celebrations of Phoenix Marketcity, Kurla. One of the most centrally located shopping malls in the city, it houses over 600 international and national labels, proving to be a perfect destination for shoppers.
