Tiffs, tussles and slapgate scandals rock Tellytown

It is common knowledge that tempers run high in stressful work environments and tiffs with colleagues is not a rarity, but when showbiz stars lock horns during work hours it makes headlines.
Catfights between a show's leading ladies and cold vibes-tiffs between the lead pair have made news in their own might and either earned more eyeballs for a show or resulted in it going downhill off air.With the lead actors of Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, Karan Kundra and Saanvi Talwar exchanging slaps, here's looking at others who have mixed displeasure with work.
DEEPIKA SINGH AND ANAS RASHID
The other television couple infamous for the slapgate controversy is the Diya Aur Baati Hum lead pair Deepika and Anas. In March this year, things between one of TV's golden couples, Sooraj and Sandhya Rathi got to the point where Deepika slapped Anas. The fact that they don't share a good rapport was common knowledge but it was Anas' alleged inappropriate touch and subsequent ugly argument that made Deepika slap him. The two eventually hugged and made up and the show goes on.
KARAN KUNDRA AND SAANVI TALWAR
The lead couple of Yeh Kahan Aa Gaye Hum, Karan and Saanvi were enacting a scene where Saanvi had to slap Karan.She did the needful but allegedly a bit too harshly as compared to what the script demanded and that had Karan slapping her back when the cameras were not rolling. With bad blood having been created and neither of the two backing out, only time will tell how things pan out for this show.
KARAN MEHRA AND HINA KHAN
One of telly's longest running shows, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's lead couple, Naitik and Akshara, who are like love birds on telly, are just about cordial otherwise.
ANKIT GERA AND MONIKA SINGH
Ex Bigg Boss 9 contestant Ankit Gera, known as the small screen's Casanova was slapped during his Maan Ki Awaaz Pratigya days. While on the show, he was dating his onscreen mother Monika Singh. The two broke up and a while after that, they had to shoot a scene that required Monika to slap Ankit. She slapped him harder than required and Ankit stormed off the set with a swollen cheek. Things got back to normal only after Monika apologised.
DIGANGANA SURYAVANSHI AND FARNAZ SHETTY
Bigg Boss 9 contestant Digangana Suryavanshi found fame through Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera, the show that allegedly wound up because she and co-star Farnaz Shetty who played sisters-in-law, could not see eye to eye. Their catfights went to the extent where the show's production started getting hampered and two began shooting their scenes separately.
DIVYANKA TRIPATHI AND KARAN PATEL
Lead actors of the show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Divyanka and Karan shared cold vibes for a very long time and also got into a roaring fight because of Karan's alleged late-reporting issues on the sets. Ever since Karan has tied the knot, their relationship appears to have warmed up a lot.
JENNIFER WINGET AND KARAN SINGH GROVER
Reportedly, Jennifer slapped Karan during the shooting of Dill Mill Gayye when he came to know of his cheating ways.Rumours suggest that Jennifer got to know that Karan was cheating on her with Nicole and Shraddha and took the drastic step on the sets following which they didn't speak to each other for months and even shot separately.
PARIDHI SHARMA AND RAJAT TOKAS
Paridhi and Rajat Tokas, lead stars of Jodha Akbar, shared a relation that bordered on a cold war of sorts.
DRASHTI DHAMI AND VIVIAN DSENA
Madhubala -Ek Ishq Ek Junoon couple Vivian and Drashti too were a telly couple that hardly saw eyeto-eye and were reportedly not even on talking terms for a while.
PARTH SAMTHAAN AND NITI TAYLOR
Things between television hotties Parth Samthaan and Niti Taylor of Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan came to a point where Parth decided to quit the show. In spite of being romantically involved on screen, the two could barely stand each other. Parth returned in the season two of Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan.
