NSM students bag overall champion’s trophy

Students of N. St. Mathew’s Public School have bagged literary, cultural and the overall champion’s trophy in the XX Montfort Literary and Cultural Competitions held at Little Flower School at Uppal recently.

Students from 21 schools participated in activities such as elocution, debate, poster-making and quiz.

In a competition in cultural activities like mime, pot decoration, hand painting, singing, instrumental music, group singing, group dance and vegetable carving, NSM students put up a good show.

The students bagged 30 gold, 32 silver and 14 bronze medals, besides winning 11 consolation prizes.

Special prize

Kumari Durgaa Jyoti Sai of fifth class won a special prize for scoring the highest individual points.

Prizes were given by Rev. Bro. John Kallarackal, the Superior General of the Brothers of St. Gabriel.
