Intelligence agencies have warned security forces that a group of around 30 terrorists from Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM), allegedly brought together by Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), are planning to cross over into Indian territory from a camp in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to carry out attacks over the next month.
According to intelligence inputs, a meeting of terrorists from all three outfits was facilitated by the ISI at Peshawar, where instructions were given to cross into the Valley and carry out attacks before the routes through the upper passes are blocked by snowfall.
Headed by Shaukat Khan alias Abu Suleiman, the group has advanced from Peshawar to the PoK camp along with an ISI handler, the input claims.
